We offer rewinds, repairs, refurbishments, dynamic balancing, modifications etc. We don’t even charge for estimates or quotes!!
For some reason though!! Mr Ergun Celibi who won’t give us his address or details seems to think that the basic rules of purchase do not apply to him!!
Our ‘friend’ Ergun first tried to bring a fan back under warranty that was more than two years old! Then after many discussions about how the 630mm 4pole 1 phase short cased axial fan shouldn’t be run on a speed controller, he decided to buy a new one!! Brilliant!! He was lucky to get away with having more than two years use out of his old fan seeing as he was using it on a controller!! So about six months ago off he went with his new fan, secure in the knowledge that he needed a DOL starter for it!! Which we offered to sell to him but he insisted he could get one cheaper elsewhere!! Anyway, On Monday he comes into our trade counter with the fan he recently bought claiming he wants a new one under warranty as it has just burnt out! Our first question was “Are you running it on a speed controller Sir?” to which he replies ”Yes” his cleaner had told him he could use a controller and not a starter!!
So let me get this straight? Mr Celibi has used a speed controller on a fan that needs a Direct On-line Starter. After we specifically told him not to!! Then, instead of listening to our qualified engineers decides to take the word of his cleaner (Yes that’s right cleaner) over ours!!?? Then he decides to bring it back under warranty and stand at our trade counter calling us all the names under the sun in front of other customers!!!
Now, don’t get me wrong. But as you can tell from my physique I like the odd kebab now and again. But I wouldn’t have a clue how to cook one!! I’d probably be okay with the pitta bread, but as for the meat bit?? I have no idea!! So I wouldn’t tell the kebab shop that he was making them all wrong!!
So why does Mr Ergun Celibi (Who won’t give us his address or details) think we are being so unreasonable??
We have explained ourselves until we are blue in the face!! But it won’t sink in!! You cannot use a Soler & Palau 630mm diameter 4pole 1phase Short cased axial fan on a speed controller!!!! Just like you can’t run a petrol car on diesel!!! Or that boats don’t fly or that you wouldn’t use a whale to try and cross the desert or a camel for pulling boats or my wife’s gravy for tarmac (Hang on you could actually use my wife’s gravy for tarmac) but you get my point!!!
We are not unreasonable!! If it’s not our fault we won’t say it is!!! But if it is our fault we will not dispute!! In the case of Mr Celibi?? You Are Wrong!!!
And we all made it into work on-time!!!

The time is near for christmas cheer
It’s time to get wrecked and have a beer
A kebab or two after a good old drink
Is a nice thing to have don’t you think?
But the ‘bab’ shops shut cos the fan broke down
The kebab shop owner feels like a right clown

On Saturday Morning at 10am Tom Beatson did a powerfan jump for the ‘stroke association’ and raised £140.00!!
The scariest 2 seconds of my life!! He said after he hit the floor in a most un-dignified way!!
the Abseiling bit was easy-peezy-lemon-squeezy!! Just like riding a bike you never forhet what to do
But the powerfan jump was very fast!! The fatter you are the harder you fall!!
